Manama, July 4 (BNA) The President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Sheikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, received today a delegation from Awal Theater headed by M. Fahmy bin Ali Al-Jowder and theater head Anwar Ahmed.
The meeting aims to discuss issues related to ways to support Awal Theater and improve its performance, as well as the ongoing construction process of Awal Investment Theatre.
The president of the association praised the efforts of Awal Theater in revitalizing the cultural movement in general and the theater sector in particular. She praised the purposeful topics addressed by theater in spreading cultural and social awareness.
For his part, Al-Jowder praised the authority’s role in communicating with private theaters and promoting theatrical work.
