Manama, Mar. 19 (BNA): Al-Kawthar Society for Social Welfare hosted a party marking the twentieth anniversary of its founding.
The event was sponsored by the Minister of Social Development, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfour, in the presence of the President of the Al-Kawthar Society, Hussein Hassan Al-Ali, members, deputies, heads of civil society institutions, sponsors and dignitaries.
The minister congratulated the president and members of the Al-Kawthar Society for Social Welfare on this occasion, praising its strenuous charitable efforts over the past years, which contributed to supporting the principles of community partnership.
He affirmed his support for the activities of civil organizations registered with the Ministry of Social Development, praising their role in promoting community service and dedicated efforts in providing tangible services and initiatives to serve all segments of society.
The minister stressed the importance of harnessing national efforts to improve social services in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in a way that contributes to raising the social level of individuals and families.
