Payable accounts

We are looking for passionate Accounts Payable to join our team at Rixos.

What will you do:

Verify that all invoices are supported by duly approved purchase orders where required, signed receipt documents and/or approved management personnel approval.
– Ensure that invoices contain relevant documents such as PO, AFE, contract, etc.
– Check invoices to verify the issuance unit. Unit price, quantity and extension against hotel purchase order and advice.
Code invoices for the appropriate general ledger account and sent to the Chief Accountant for verification.
Obtaining approval of the invoices from the concerned department before processing the invoice on the accounts payable system.
Ensure that invoices without relevant supporting documents are approved by the respective department heads or department heads
Ensure that the invoices are recorded correctly in the system either manually or through the FMC upload file.
Maintaining the updated vendors/suppliers database approved in the accounts payable system.
Print and submit checks with all supporting documents to the Finance Director and General Manager for signature.
Prepare manual checks as required if directed by the Finance Manager or CFO.
Maintain a close working relationship with purchasing, receiving and cost control personnel.
Reconcile vendor master statements monthly to ensure account update.
Check the seller’s statements immediately upon receipt and resolve all discrepancies directly with the seller.

Your experience and skills include:

Creativity, stress management, self-development, listening and oral skills
– Ability to handle multiple tasks
– Ability to delegate and organize workflow
– Ability to meet deadlines consistently
– Driving skills
Management, coaching and mentoring skills
Diploma in Hotel Management
Degree in Accounting
Familiarity with hotel operating systems (Opera PMS- POS)
– At least 3 years of experience in a 5-star hotel or resort and in a similar role.
A luxury hotel or resort background is preferred
