Youth Minister receives Bahrain delegation participating in 34th edition of Ship for World Youth

Manama, Dec. 26 (BNA): Minister of Youth Affairs Rawan bint Najeeb Al-Tawfiqi affirmed that encouraging the participation of Bahraini youth in international initiatives and activities reflects the vision of the Ministry of Youth Affairs, which seeks to benefit from all programs aimed at empowering youth, refining their talents and developing their leadership capabilities.

The minister was speaking during her reception today of the Bahraini youth delegation participating in the 34th edition of the World Youth Ship (SWY) program, which will be launched on February 6.

The program aims to enhance friendship among young people around the world, promote cultural exchange and establish the principle of leadership among young people.

The Minister of Youth Affairs affirmed that the participation of Bahraini youth in the large international youth gathering will enhance their role in highlighting the Kingdom’s approach and values ​​through a group of jobs that shed light on Bahrain’s history and achievements.

The minister listened to a briefing from the Bahraini delegation about the ship’s voyage and the programs to be presented by the delegation.

The delegation expressed its thanks and appreciation to the minister for her support, stressing keenness to represent Bahrain in the best way in this international youth gathering, which is an ideal opportunity and platform to enrich their culture, skills and knowledge, and to promote Bahrain globally.
