Manama, May 22 (BNA): The National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD), in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture and the Supreme Council for the Environment, planted the Zallaq Health Center in the Southern Governorate, with the support of Yusuf bin Ahmed. This initiative came as part of the second phase of the national reforestation campaign, Forever Green.
Sheikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa, Secretary General of NIAD, attended.
This contribution came from YBA Kanoo, to activate public-private partnership in completing environmental projects aimed at increasing green spaces and supporting national plans to reach zero neutrality by 2060.
Locally grown fruit trees such as lemon, pomegranate and mango trees will be planted in the yards of Zallaq Health Centre.
