Manama, April 12 (BNA) The Higher Coordination Committee between the Ministry of Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning and the heads of municipal councils held its meeting.
The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Works Issam bin Abdullah Khalaf.
The meeting discussed the progress of municipal projects, the latest developments in the regulatory requirements for housing units, and the importance of approving them to deal with the expansion of housing in residential cities.
It reviewed the infrastructure of the governorates, the ministry’s plan for the coming years, the sewage suction mechanism, and tenders for new septic tanks.
The minister affirmed the existing projects and efforts in the field of infrastructure and sewage network development, pointing to the increase in the capacity of the communications suction by increasing the tanks charged with the service provided.
