Manama, September 14 (BNA) The Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, Lieutenant-General Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain always strives to provide the best health and treatment services to all members. society, which contributes to raising the level of the private sector, especially by expanding the integration between the public and private sectors.


He pointed out that this comes within the framework of the ongoing efforts to develop a health system based on the best international standards to improve the quality of life.


The Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health made these statements during the inauguration here today of the Visual Center for Sign Language Medicine in Primary Health Care Centers, which is the first health service of its kind dedicated to the deaf and hard of hearing.


The center, which is the fruit of joint cooperation between primary health care centers, Zain Bahrain and the Bahrain Deaf Association, aims to meet the needs of the deaf and hard of hearing by promoting effective communication between them and doctors and health workers. .


Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah stressed that the launch of the new service embodies the firm support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. .


He stressed the importance of cooperation between all public and private institutions and civil society in achieving the Kingdom’s goals in all sectors, especially health.


The managing director of Zain Bahrain, Mohammed Zain Al-Abidin, expressed the company’s pride in cooperating with the primary health care centers and the Bahrain Death Society to launch the center, noting that the move aims to consolidate Zain Bahrain’s leading role as innovators in the field of communications, by providing everything. Models to support the deaf in order to facilitate their access to all services.


Dr. Lulwa Rashid Shwaiter, Acting CEO of Primary Health Care Centers, stressed the importance of fully integrating deaf and hard of hearing people into Bahraini society, through the provision and use of advanced technology.


She indicated that the new service will meet their needs through direct communication with doctors and health workers,
