Manama, September 21 (BNA) Dr. Abdullah Nasser Al-Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Nasser Vocational Training Center, received a delegation from the US Embassy.
The delegation was briefed on the center since its establishment in line with the aspirations of His Majesty the King for humanitarian work and youth sports, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
His Majesty’s directives were to transform the educational edifice into a developed scientific city with a leading role in cloud computing and artificial intelligence by providing training, qualification and consultations.
The meeting also touched on the importance of the prominent role that the center plays in providing high-quality training services to convicts in correctional centers, and assisting them in educational and professional achievements.
The delegation toured the facilities of the Nasser Center in the Correction and Rehabilitation Center at the Ministry of Interior in Jaw.
Dr. Al-Nuaimi explained that the visit comes among the center’s priorities to open channels of communication with similar educational institutions in all developed and advanced countries in modern disciplines.
The center is also keen to highlight Bahrain’s modern and advanced educational, rehabilitation and training services for its youth to enable them to compete internationally and meet the needs of the labor market.
