Manama, November 1 (BNA) The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bin Shaheen Al-Madhahi, received today the South Korean ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Hai Kwan Chung, and discussed with him ways to advance academically. and research relationships.
She praised the advanced level of South Korean higher education institutions, noting the role of the King Sejong Institute at UoB University of Korean Language Teaching in introducing students to the South Korean language and culture.
For his part, the South Korean Ambassador congratulated Dr. Al-Mudhaki on the issuance of Royal Decree No. 102 of 2021 appointing her as President of the University of Bahrain.
It is worth noting that the University of Bahrain inaugurated the King Sejong Institute for Korean Language Teaching in October 2017 after signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the South Korean Embassy in June 2017. The establishment of the institute aims to enhance cooperation between UoB and South Korea and introduce students to South Korean culture.
