Manama, April 3 / BNA / Under the patronage of the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi, the University of Bahrain and Huawei Bahrain signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish the “Huawei Academy for Information and Communication Technology” at the University of Bahrain.
The MoU was signed by the President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher Shaheen Al-Mudhaki, and the CEO of Huawei Bahrain, Ethan Sun.
Under the memorandum of understanding, the two sides will provide advanced training courses through the Huawei Information and Networking Academy (HAINA) program for faculty members and students at the University of Bahrain.
Huawei, the leading global provider of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), will provide its expertise and all requirements that will prepare the future generation to lead the digital transformation in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
