Manama, September 12 (BNA) Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa praised the efforts of the Japan-Bahraini Parliamentary Friendship Society and its contributions to enhancing cooperation, especially in the parliamentary and legislative fields. He stressed the Kingdom’s keenness to strengthen the partnership with Japan.
Dr. Sheikh Al Khalifa expressed his appreciation for the constructive cooperation between the two countries and the common views on regional and international political developments with the Chairman of the Japan-Bahraini Parliamentary Friendship Association in the House of Representatives in Tokyo, Representative Tanaka Kazunori.
For his part, Tanaka Kazunori affirmed the Society’s keenness to develop historical friendship and bilateral parliamentary cooperation, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Tokyo, Ahmed Al-Dosari, the Head of Afro-Asian Affairs, Ambassador Fatima Al-Dhaen, and a number of members of the association.
