New York, September 20 (BNA) Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa affirmed the wise diplomatic approach and directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. For the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to consolidate the values of religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence towards greater security, peace and prosperity.
The Undersecretary expressed his pride in attending the dinner hosted by Israel Bonds in New York headed by Mr. Danny Naveh, on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, in the presence of a group of American leaders and businessmen. He affirmed Bahrain’s support for efforts aimed at achieving a peaceful, just and comprehensive solution in the Middle East, building on the results reached in light of the Ibrahim Agreements, the joint warm peace strategy and the results of the Negev Summit.
He also expressed his appreciation for the pivotal role of the United States in sponsoring the peace process, stressing the importance of the participation of American Jewish organizations in stimulating economic and development projects for greater development in the region.
