Damascus, Mar. 29 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Syria, Waheed Mubarak Sayyar, announced the arrival of two Bahraini relief convoys (the third and the fourth) to the Syrian territories to support those affected by the earthquake that struck the northern regions. Syria.

Relief aid, including blankets, shelter tents, basic foodstuffs, medical materials and first aid, in addition to the necessary medical supplies, will be distributed in the various areas affected by the earthquake.
He pointed out that a specialized Bahraini medical team from the Bahraini Medical Society headed by Dr. Amer Al-Derazi has arrived in Syria, where he visited hospitals in the affected areas, provided medical consultations to the wounded and performed sensitive operations.
The Bahraini medical delegation was briefed on the needs of hospitals in the affected areas in terms of medicines, supplies and necessary medical devices.
Ambassador Sayyar said that the medical team identified urgent needs and agreed with the concerned authorities to provide them from Bahrain, in line with the Kingdom’s keenness to support Syria in its efforts to overcome the repercussions of the earthquake.
He pointed out that the King Hussein Cancer Foundation is currently preparing for other relief aid shipments that will arrive successively in Syria to mitigate the effects of this painful disaster.
