Ankara, April 13 (BNA): The Republic of Turkey welcomed the resumption of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Qatar, after the success of the second meeting of the Bahraini-Qatari follow-up committee, which was held recently at the headquarters of the Gulf Cooperation Council in Riyadh.
“We welcome the decision of the two brotherly friendly countries, Qatar and Bahrain, to restore diplomatic relations between them,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
“Turkey will continue to support efforts to solve problems in the region through dialogue and cooperation,” the statement added.
