Manama, May 12 (BNA) Minister of Transport and Communications Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed met with the President of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Salvatore Sciacchitano and the Regional Director of the International Civil Aviation Organization in the Middle East, Muhammad Abu Bakr Abdullah Farea.
Ways to enhance international and regional cooperation with organizations concerned with civil aviation were reviewed.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance civil aviation in the Ministry and the International Civil Aviation Organization to enhance aviation safety and exchange experiences.
The Minister praised the Corporation’s interest in supporting the Ministry’s strategy to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and sustainable development goals through projects to modernize and develop the infrastructure of the aviation sector.
