Manama, July 25 (BNA) The Minister of Transport and Communications, Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, received today the CEO of Huawei in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ethan Sun.
The minister said that the ICT sector and the digital economy are a priority in Bahrain, noting that the government launched a comprehensive strategy to advance the sector within the economic recovery plan.
He stressed the keenness to continue enhancing the Kingdom’s position and position in these areas in line with the desired development goals.
He affirmed the ministry’s support for all initiatives that promote the progress of the telecommunications sector, information technology and the digital economy, and that directly contribute to developing the quality of services.
The meeting was also attended by Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for Solutions David Wan, Director of Strategic Accounts for the Middle East Sultan Mahmoud Malik, and Director of Huawei Bahrain Account Rashid Al-Bassam.
