Finance Minister inaugurates Middle East Guidance Forum

The minister referred to the directives of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister in February 2020 to form the National Medical Task Force to combat the Corona Virus (Covid-19) and establish a joint operations room working around the clock, although Bahrain has not yet done so. The Minister of Finance and National Economy stressed the importance of social cohesion in psychological and social stability, referring to the measures taken by the Kingdom under the directives of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister to combat the epidemic and confront its impact on society. . He also stressed the importance of building trust in societies by providing the necessary information and adhering to credibility and transparency. He said that before the first case of COVID-19 was discovered, a comprehensive media strategy had been put in place and was still continuing to respond to people’s inquiries and about the pandemic.

The Minister stressed that the countries that have proven their position in development and progress are those that have given human and financial resources equal importance. He pointed out that all government priorities and programs in the Kingdom of Bahrain are based on this principle, including the recently launched economic recovery plan.
