Manama, Feb. 25 (BNA): The General Traffic Department said that it continues to provide its facilities through electronic services and special centers for vehicle technical examination.
The Director General of Traffic, Brigadier General Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdul Wahhab Al Khalifa, said: “More than 888,000 electronic services were processed in 2022 out of 35 services through the e-government portal and the etraffic application.”
In today’s statement, Brig. Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Wahhab Al Khalifa confirmed that 80% of minor accidents were handled through the application.
He pointed out that the private technical inspection centers registered more than 166,000 vehicles, which reflects the success of the privatization service, which has spread to all governorates through cooperation with the private sector.
He revealed that the Directorate continues to receive requests to open more centers.
