Tourism Minister opens Autumn Fair 2022

Manama, Dec. 22 (BNA): The 33rd edition of the Autumn Fair opened today under the auspices of the Minister of Tourism, Fatima bint Jaafar Al-Sairafi.


Al-Serafi toured the exhibition, which is being held at the Bahrain World Expo (EWB) in Sakhir, accompanied by the CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) Dr. Nasser Ali Al-Qaidi.


The minister praised the return of the Autumn Fair, which heralds a remarkable recovery in the exhibition industry in Bahrain, which will benefit the trade and tourism sectors, in line with the objectives of the tourism strategy (2022-2026) within the economic recovery plan.


She noted the efforts made by the organizers to attract exhibitors from many countries, stressing the importance of such huge events in supporting the tourism sector.


This year’s edition attracted 650 exhibitors from 14 countries – the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of Yemen, the country. Palestine, the Republic of Sudan, the Republic of India, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Turkey, the Kingdom of Thailand, and the Republic of Bangladesh.
