Tottenham’s top-4 hopes hit with 3-2 EPL loss to Bournemouth

London, April 15 (BNA): Tottenham’s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League were dashed after losing 3-2 to Bournemouth following Dango Ouattara’s stoppage-time win on Saturday.

The visitors won a wild game in the Premier League after substitute Ouattara added goals from Matias Vina and Dominic Solanke.

The Cherries have earned some revenge after their late upset game back in October, according to the Associated Press.

Tottenham manager Christian Stellini, who replaced substitute Davinson Sanchez, was capped after a 23-minute defender’s performance, seeing his aggressive tactics cost his side. Six strikers scored on the field in the final minutes of Tottenham.

Tottenham remain fifth but Aston Villa are just three points behind and a crucial week from three games against fourth-place rivals Newcastle and Manchester United.
