Top companies show interest in participating in 2024 airshow

Manama, November 13 (BNA): The Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS 2022) has been so successful that many major companies have expressed interest in returning to the air show in 2024.

“We hope that more companies and aircraft will participate in the seventh edition of the Bahrain International Airshow 2024,” Director of the Bahrain International Airshow Yousef Mohamed Mahmoud told Bahrain News Agency (BNA).

He pointed out that more than 50,000 people participated in the Sixth Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS 2020) over its three days at Sakhir Air Base.

The event, which marks the tenth anniversary of its founding, under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

“There were 186 participating companies from 33 countries in the exhibition,” Mahmoud said.

“There were a total of 225 military and civilian delegations in attendance and 76 aircraft participating. This year’s air show witnessed many successful testimonials from international companies. The feedback we got from these companies is that the show was very well organized, and the quality of service it was amazing “.
