Manama, Feb. 6 (BNA): The National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) said that the QR code will soon replace the information leaflet available inside medicine boxes.
It said in a statement today that doctors or patients can scan the data matrix code on drug packages and access electronic product information.
The electronic bulletin, which will be introduced gradually this year, will facilitate access to updated medical information and ensure coordination with the competent authorities in the GCC countries.
