Manama, Feb. 6 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, received the newly appointed Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Rithsri Wigertney Mendez, who presented a copy of her credentials.
Al-Zayani praised the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, pointing to the growing relations in all fields.
Ambassador Mendez also affirmed her country’s commitment to strengthening joint cooperation, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further development and progress.
The meeting was attended by the head of the Department of Asia and Pacific Affairs, Fatima Abdullah Al-Daen.
