As of Sunday, December 19, 2021, the system of countries included in the Red List will be replaced by a mandatory PCR certificate, bearing a QR code, administered for no more than 48 hours before boarding a return flight, for all travelers arriving in the Kingdom of Bahrain aged 6 Years. years and above.

PCR testing on the day of arrival, and the fifth and tenth days after arrival, as applicable, is also mandatory for all travelers entering the Kingdom.

The Civil Aviation Authority notes that these decisions have been taken to preserve public health in light of the global spread of the Omicron variant.

The Civil Aviation Authority adds that all precautionary health measures currently in place will continue, and the procedures for entering the Kingdom of Bahrain can be viewed through the Ministry of Health website at: healthalert.gov.bh.
