Bangkok, February 23 (BNA) The Thai Minister of Tourism and Sports, Vivat Rachaketprakern, received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Bangkok, Mona Abbas Radi.
The minister stressed the importance of strengthening Bahraini-Thai cooperation in the tourism, youth and sports sectors in the post-pandemic era.
He said that Thailand is one of the main tourist destinations for Bahraini tourists, expressing his country’s readiness to encourage Thai businessmen to invest in Bahrain, especially in the tourism and health care sectors.
During the meeting, the Thai minister expressed his thanks to the Kingdom of Bahrain for its efforts in building bridges between Thailand and the Middle East.
The ambassador praised the distinguished relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of strengthening joint cooperation in various youth and sports fields, and exploring ways to encourage trade, investment, tourism and medical tourism.
She noted the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain in attracting foreign investments, especially in the tourism sector, as one of the strategic plans of the economic recovery plan for the Kingdom. .
