Job description and summary

A career in administration and secretarial services, within the company’s internal services, will give you the opportunity to provide administrative support to PwC employees. You will focus on using business software applications to prepare reports, receive and direct incoming calls or emails to appropriate parties, arrange business trips, track expenses, and coordinate meeting arrangements.

As a participant, you will work as part of a problem-solving team with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business problems from strategy to implementation. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Proactively assist the team in various aspects of the project
– Prepare the output
Contribute to the development of your technical acumen and team work
Keeping abreast of local and national business and economic issues
Ensure compliance issues are adhered to
Work on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand
Preparing and assisting in the setup process for client risk management
Project planning, progress monitoring and reporting
Perform various background checks by conducting continuous screening of customers and suppliers to manage risks related to customer acceptance and engagement
Conduct anti-money laundering and sanctions checks on all clients and their ultimate beneficial owners to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering and sanctions
Ensure engagement teams comply with Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes
Report negative screening results, penalties and global/local conflicts of interest
Monitor timely completion of mandatory client risk assessment and engagement processes
Handling risk management inquiries received from various customer engagement teams across the Middle East
– Identifying, assessing and evaluating breaches of confidentiality
Assisting with risk management operations in the Middle East and being part of compliance with changes to the PwC network and/or local policies in the Middle East.
Conduct a engagement compliance review on the selected portfolios to ensure that the assignment is in line with the Company’s risk management standards and any independence regulations.
Express any concerns about inadequacy and bring to the attention of senior management.

Demonstrate the ability to build relationships, working across multinational teams and with a variety of people at different levels – from senior partners to staff
Strong interest in and passion for PwC and aspiration to develop itself and its PwC network
Excellent organizational skills, with ability to prioritize workload with flexibility and ability to handle well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written). Fluent in English but prefer a multilingual Arabic speaker
