Tamkeen to launch enhanced version of Business Development programme

Manama, December 27 / BNA / In preparation for the launch of the new version of the Business Development Program, Tamkeen announced the suspension of applications from January 10, 2022, until the gradual re-launch of the updated version in February 2022.

Applications for other programs including training and employment support programs will remain open, and clients can continue to apply as normal during this period.

In this regard, Hussain Mohamed Ragab, CEO of Tamkeen, confirmed that this is a step towards launching an improved and improved version of the business development program, saying: “From the beginning, Tamkeen has always been vigilant in keeping pace with economic changes as well as developments in the labor market, and development continuous targeted support programs and services to meet the changing demands of the private sector.”

Rajab added: “We have witnessed significant changes in the market recently, and we are determined to follow the long-term impact of these developments, in order to develop plans and programs designed to enable the economic contribution of private enterprises in the Kingdom. the two seas. This also aims to support the shift in their business models to prioritize productivity, growth, competitiveness and innovation.”

Rajab also highlighted Tamkeen’s cooperation with key actors in the private sector from various economic sectors in addition to relevant partners and government agencies in developing these programs, which was achieved through a series of consultative sessions held during the last period. The main objective of these sessions was to ensure the comprehensiveness and efficiency of the proposed support plans and their suitability to the current market needs, and the opportunities offered to market sectors, taking into account the priorities of the national economic recovery plan.

Moreover, Tamkeen recently announced plans for a comprehensive transformation of all its programs and services with the ultimate goal of increasing impact towards performance and productivity of private enterprises, increasing their participation in creating valuable job opportunities for Bahrainis, and enabling local talent to become the preferred choice for employment in the labor market.
