As a Talent and Culture Writer, you will work under the supervision of the Talent and Culture Director and will be responsible for supporting the Talent and Culture team in their day-to-day talent and culture operations. You will also provide administrative support to the team, assist with internal and external inquiries and requests related to talent and culture, and direct employee relations programs and activities.

What will you do:
– Update the Oasis system in a timely manner.
Responsible for ensuring strict confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Responsible for verifying leave application in relation to visa, work permit and passport validity.
Keep electronic copies of important documents that employees may request.
Responsible for issuing passport copies and document copies as and when requested by employees. Issuance of a name badge.
– Coordination with the customer services office to follow up the documents required by the employees.
Ensures that all outgoing correspondence is printed, audited, and distributed or sent to the highest possible standard.
Responsible for issuing and monitoring personnel lockers and maintaining record, producing summary on monthly basis and proper control of keys for keys in the key box and replacing locks/keys for lockers as required.
– Coordination of the monthly birthday celebration at the hotel.
Coordinate with the Customer Services Office to request leave tickets for Pullman employees.
– To have a good follow-up and tracking system.
– Prepare a welcome package for new carpenters.
– Arranging transfers / airport selection for newcomers and servants.
– Update the list of dropouts on a weekly basis.
Helps maintain personnel files for all employees in a systematic and confidential manner
Assists in preparing the monthly talent and culture report.
Preparing a filing system for all important and relevant correspondence and documents.
– Staff cafeteria management.
Assists the Personnel Welfare Committee in planning, organizing and carrying out the sporting, social and welfare activities of the employees.
Maintain and update the application data bank, send letters of regret, and send letters of acknowledgment.
– Implement a daily follow-up system.
Maintains an up-to-date computerized database of all employees
Assists in maintaining personnel files for all employees in a systematic and confidential manner.
Coordinates departmental employee relations functions, and completion. Observe the probationary period.
Coordination with the departmental training/mentoring programs.
– To keep a record of employees’ birthday, arrange birthday cards / cake and celebrate birthday.
To carry out any other duties or tasks or reasonable requirements.
– Consider staff accommodation requirements. Assist the Staff Accommodation Supervisor and report any problems in the Staff Accommodation.

Your experience and skills include:
Should have good time management skills
Must have up-to-date knowledge of new rules and regulations.
To promote and ensure good interdepartmental relations in general.
Demonstrate gentle manner and positive attitude at all times and promote a good image of the company, colleagues and business partners.
Demonstrate workplace pride and personal appearance at all times when representing the hotel, thereby defining a high level of commitment.
Adhere to company and hotel rules and regulations at all times.
– Fluency in English. Knowledge of an additional language is definitely an advantage.
Previous experience in a multicultural environment in the UAE is necessary and a Bachelor’s degree.
