Your role and responsibilities

The role of IBM Systems Digital Brand Reseller is responsible for listing accounts in a specific region within the Middle East and Africa region with a clear revenue target.

The IBM vendor must understand the customer’s business environment and can tailor the IBM solution to suit the customer’s needs and ensure customer satisfaction.

This job requires a good understanding of IBM HW (Server/Storage) products, knowledge of competitive products and market insights to guide/advise the client and to be able to define IBM’s unique value proposition.

It also requires area coverage, account planning, perfect execution, and the ability to reach customers via F2F, phone calls, and digital tools. The IBM vendor must also align with IBM team members and other businesses as well to identify and close opportunities.

Work responsibilities:
Expand coverage of IBM systems into specific regions in both group coverage and higher value offerings.
To demonstrate knowledge of IBM Systems HW products to F2F customers and/or through digital tools.
Performs close alignment with local IBM and BPS teams for EBUs.
Manage the ongoing relationship with accounts in a specific area by ensuring success stories within these accounts.
Achieving and exceeding quarterly targets in terms of revenue, pipeline and new customer acquisition.
– Accurate forecast of monthly and quarterly sales.

Technical and professional experience required
5-10 years of experience in sales/technical systems (all servers, storage, networking, etc.) in the IT industry (as a vendor/technician or channel representative)
Graduated from a leading university in Egypt with a degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
Working in a relevant competitive company is an added advantage
A French speaking candidate is a must for this job role.
