Store Keeper – Raffles & Fairmont Doha

Job purpose

The position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the flagship stores; Warehousing and issuance, as well as ensuring proper authorization for the release of goods from the store and the correct issuance account.

Basic Responsibilities

Responsible for supervising, coordinating and participating in the activities of the individuals involved in the store.
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with applicable company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of the position.
– Cost Controller assists in the monthly inventory of the store.
Performs other related duties as may be assigned.
Ensures that all purchase orders are approved by an authorized person before the merchandise is issued.
Ensures correct issuance of shares on a first-in, first-out basis.
– Orders must be printed and signed by the recipient and store staff.
Maintains accurate record of all store items and proper keeping system.
Replenish store items in a timely manner and ensure there is always enough stock on hand.
Assists in identifying and managing slow moving inventory.
– Helps to report the level of all store items, maintain proper level and review parity level from time to time.
Assists in planning an efficient and effective storage process.
Verify that all food and beverages are in good condition and under a safe consumption period.
Maintains general cleanliness of all warehouse areas.
– Ensures daily record of temperatures for coolants in the store.
– Prepares the receipt (store) report and sends it to the Finance Department.
Ensures correct stock issuance on a one-to-one basis for alcohol.
Ensures adherence to HACCP standards and requirements at all times.
