Manama, May 15 (BNA) The arena is preparing for the first international badminton tournament for the disabled, which will start on Monday and continue until May 21.
The Bahrain Paralympic Committee cooperated with the Bahrain Badminton and Squash Federation in organizing the tournament, which is being held for the first time in the Middle East.
More than 180 players representing 33 countries are scheduled to participate in the tournament, which will be held in Hall D at Sheikh Isa bin Rashid Al Khalifa Stadium.
The Bahrain Paralympic Committee has invited the public to attend the competition, which will be held daily from 9 am to 9 pm.
