Sports Cardiology Congress concludes on a high note

Manama, Dec. 4 (BNA) Today, the curtain came down on the Sports Cardiology Conference, which opened in Bahrain last Thursday, in a precedent that is the first of its kind in the region.

The Minister of Health, Faeq bint Saeed Al-Salah, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the success of the conference, which resulted in important recommendations.

It also extended its congratulations to the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The Sports Conference on Cardiology was held under the auspices of His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Action and Youth Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The Ministry of Health participated in organizing the conference with the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Center for Cardiac Diseases, in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports.

The minister said during a press conference held today that the conference’s recommendations are in line with the aspirations of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

She stressed the keenness of His Highness Sheikh Nasser to encourage the safe practice of sports in a manner that ensures the maximum benefit and protects the safety of people.

She said that hosting the international conference in Bahrain for the first time in the region reflects the care that His Majesty the King and the government attach to the health sector headed by His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The Minister expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and to His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Public Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee for the opening. Conference.

Al-Saleh announced that the results and recommendations of the Sports Conference on Cardiology will be implemented in coordination with the concerned authorities, including the National Committee for Combating Non-Communicable Diseases and the media.
