Manama, December 2 (BNA) The Sports Conference on Cardiology was launched today under the auspices of His Majesty the King’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in the presence of His Highness. Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
The event, which takes place from December 2-4, is organized by the Ministry of Health and the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Specialist Center for Cardiology in cooperation with SCYS.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa stressed in his opening speech that the Sports Heart Conference, which is being held in the Kingdom of Bahrain for the first time in the region, reflects the health care efforts enjoyed by citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Bahrain within the framework of the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa regarding the provision of health care to citizens, as the main pillar of the comprehensive development process in the Kingdom.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser praised the interest and support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and his keenness to continue providing health care to all citizens and residents in line with royal visions. He pointed out the importance that the Kingdom attaches to the practice of sports, which has contributed to achieving many achievements and transforming the practice of sports into a way of life.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser stressed the importance of the conference in addressing issues related to correct sports practice to maintain heart health and raising public awareness of the need to exercise in the right way to prevent any complications. He also praised the efforts of the Ministry of Health, the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Specialized Center for Cardiology and SCYS to organize the conference. He referred to the national awareness campaign that was conducted before the conference, wishing the conference success in producing positive results.
For her part, the Minister of Health, Faeq bint Saeed Al-Saleh, expressed her thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for sponsoring the conference and supporting all national efforts to ensure the health and safety of citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She pointed to the measures taken in this regard, stressing that the conference is a clear evidence of the care and support provided by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the government led by His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for the health of citizens. .
