Manama, Dec. 2 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, commissioned His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa to inaugurate Muharraq Grand Park.
The opening coincides with Bahrain’s celebrations of its national holidays.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said that the opening of Muharraq Grand Park is part of an integrated system of parks, parks and recreational places in various regions of the Kingdom, which came within the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Within the framework of the government’s keenness, headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman, to expand projects that expand green areas in Bahrain and enhance tourism infrastructure.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed his satisfaction with the achievements in this regard, stressing that they promote sustainable urban development as well as strengthen the infrastructure of parks and recreational places.
He recalled with appreciation the role of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, who granted the Grand Park project full care and support.
His Highness pointed out that Bahrainis are at the heart of the strategies, plans and programs adopted by Bahrain for sustainable development, stressing that projects with new dimensions at the level of tourism are among the priorities of the economic recovery plan.
He praised the great efforts made by all concerned parties, especially the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, Muharraq Governorate, Muharraq Municipality and Muharraq Municipal Council.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed praised the level of cooperation and coordination in the rehabilitation and development of the park to provide the necessary infrastructure, modern services and various recreational facilities, and congratulated the residents of Muharraq on the completion of the project.
