My client is a leading engineering consultancy firm based in Riyadh with an excellent reputation and proven track record of working on some notable projects in the countries. They are currently looking to hire an experienced specification writer for the following;
Must be able to read and interpret design and programming standards at different stages and stages of project development: concept design stage, schematic design stage, detailed design stage and final construction drawings.
You have diverse design and construction experience and the position requires working knowledge of the various disciplines involved in the project including architecture, interior design, civil, structural, MEP, landscaping and infrastructure.
Has experience in preparing project specifications using the latest versions of the SPECLINK CLOUD specification system, the MASTERSPEC master manual specification, and the CSI MasterFormat 50-Division format.
Strong knowledge of architectural design, engineering coordination, design trends, products, construction methodology, building systems, materials application, and manufacturer-to-supplier suitability.
Candidates must have the following skills and experience;
Bachelor of Science in Architecture and/or Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical)
10 years of extensive experience in the design and construction of facilities and infrastructure projects
Proficiency in specification programs.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to produce well-coordinated, detail-oriented and fully integrated specifications.
· Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on schedule.
