Special Envoy for Climate meets UNIDO Director-General

Vienna, September 22 (BNA) The Special Envoy for Climate Affairs and CEO of the Supreme Council for the Environment, Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak bin Dina, met with the Director-General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Li Yong during the meeting. 65th session of the International Atomic Energy Agency Conference in Vienna.

Bin Dina praised UNIDO’s great efforts to achieve development goals through its various programs and cooperation.

He stressed the strategic partnership between Bahrain and UNIDO and the Kingdom’s keenness to enhance cooperation by supporting the development programs adopted by the Kingdom in its economic vision 2030 and the Continuing Education Committee in various investment projects to achieve sustainable development goals.

Young expressed his appreciation for Bahrain’s role in advancing environmental and economic development locally and internationally, and praised the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the government’s work at all levels under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
