Manama, September 22 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at the level of 1,692.56 points, an increase of 5.99 points over the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the rise in the telecommunications services sector, the private sector for consumers, and the financial sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 663.47 points, recording a decrease of 1.47 points from the previous close.
The results indicated that 115 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 3,757,413, with a value of BD 939,574.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, accounting for 64.28% of the total value of traded securities.
