Special Envoy for Climate Affairs receives Ambassador-designate to Saudi Arabia

Manama, January 6 (BNA): Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Dina received the Special Envoy for Climate Affairs and CEO of the Supreme Council for the Environment Sheikh Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa, upon his appointment as ambassador delegate to the Supreme Council for the Environment. He congratulated the CEO of the authority, Sheikh Abdul Rahman, wishing him success in his diplomatic duties to strengthen the historical relations between the two kingdoms under the auspices of their leadership.

The Special Envoy highlighted the cooperation that brings together Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in the environmental and climate fields, and the authority’s keenness to enhance this cooperation to achieve sustainable development goals and enhance environmental work in the region.

The ambassador expressed his appreciation for the authority’s efforts in preserving the environment at the local, regional and international levels, stressing his keenness to strengthen environmental and development relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and to contribute to facilitating the implementation of bilateral initiatives and projects, as stipulated.
