Manama, Jan. 25 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam received Italian Ambassador Paola Amadi.
The meeting discussed issues of common interest and ways to develop bilateral relations, especially in the economic field, as Italy is among the top ten countries in the volume of trade exchange with the Kingdom.
The Parliament Speaker praised the Bahraini-Italian relations, and stressed parliamentary cooperation for further growth and progress.
The ambassador emphasized that bilateral relations are expanding steadily at all levels.
She affirmed her country’s aspiration to enhance cooperation with Bahrain in various fields, and praised the House of Representatives’ keenness to support parliamentary cooperation.
