Manama, Jan. 18 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam received today the French Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jerome Cauchard, in the presence of Chargé d’Affaires of the French Embassy, Emmanuel Maier.
The Speaker of Parliament affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to push diplomatic action to promote comprehensive development and international relations. He pointed out the Parliament’s keenness to strengthen the distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and France and to activate joint agreements.
The French ambassador praised Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen bilateral relations through a wide range of civil projects and programmes. He also praised Bahrain’s role in supporting international efforts to promote global peace and security.
