Manama, August 4 (BNA) Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal received the Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Anwar Habibullah.
The meeting discussed strengthening Bahraini-Chinese cooperation and developing parliamentary work between the House of Representatives and its Chinese counterpart.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives affirmed Bahrain’s stance on the one-China policy, and wished the country further progress and security.
The ambassador expressed his country’s appreciation for the Kingdom’s development of bilateral relations based on close historical relations and common interests.
