Islamabad, November 20 (BNA) Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal praised the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Pakistan and their steady development in various fields.
She stressed the importance and strategic aspect of these relations and the growing cooperation between the two countries, mainly in the economic, commercial and military fields.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives was speaking during today’s meeting with the Pakistani Army Commander, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, as part of her visit, accompanied by a parliamentary delegation, to Pakistan.
The two sides discussed bilateral cooperation and joint interest in joint solidarity in regional and international forums in order to preserve security, stability and interests of the two countries.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Pakistan Mohammed Ibrahim Mohammed, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security Committee Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Sisi Al-Buainain, and Ammar Ahmed Al-Bani, Chairman of the Permanent Committee on Human Rights.
