Speaker: Isa Award embodies Bahrain’s message of goodness, giving for humanity

Manama, Feb. 21 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam affirmed that the Isa Award for Service to Humanity embodies Bahrain’s message of benevolence and giving for the sake of humanity. His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He stressed that the award is an added value to the Kingdom’s civilized initiatives, noting that it has become a distinguished international award that recognizes noble projects that serve societies and peoples.

The Muslim spokesman indicated that the award is a token of thanks and appreciation to His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa and his charitable contributions in supporting humanitarian work.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Special Representative of His Majesty the King and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa Award for Service to Humanity, praised him for his efforts in promoting the founding principles and objectives of the prestigious award.

He also praised the efforts made by all members of the Award’s Board of Trustees, the Secretary-General and the International Arbitration Committee to make the Award a success.

He also congratulated the Nepalese ophthalmologist Dr. Sanduk Root, who won the fifth edition of the Isa Award for Service to Humanity.
