Manama, March 6 (BNA) The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, received today the newly appointed Indonesian Ambassador to Bahrain, Ardi Harmawan.
House Speaker Zeinal wished the ambassador every success in performing his diplomatic duties.
She affirmed the Parliament’s support to enhance Bahraini-Indonesian cooperation in various fields, in light of the strong relations between the two friendly countries and peoples.
The ambassador expressed his deep pride at the level of relations between the two countries, praising the comprehensive development process that the Kingdom is currently witnessing.
He also conveyed to her the greetings of her Indonesian counterpart.
The envoy handed the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the parliamentary delegation an invitation to participate in the 144th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and related meetings to be held in Indonesia at the end of this month.
