Islamabad, November 19 (BNA) Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal said that Bahraini women have made great strides that have enabled them to assume local and international leadership positions.
She praised His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, praising the distant royal vision supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
She stressed the pivotal role of the Supreme Council for Women headed by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the sanctity of His Majesty the King in setting strategies, leading initiatives and projects, and promoting effective partnership with state institutions in order to achieve their goals. She made this statement when she met Manazah Hasan, General Secretary of the Women’s Parliamentary Gathering, a multi-party forum for women parliamentarians from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
