Speaker hails HM the King’s far-sighted vision

Manama, Jan. 18 (BNA) Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal praised His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, praising his wise ruling vision, which represents a national roadmap for continued progress and prosperity.

She commended the main speech delivered by His Majesty the King at the opening of the fourth session of the fifth legislative term, describing the royal speech as a wide-ranging blueprint for further national development.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives praised the close cooperation between the legislative authority and the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives headed a parliamentary delegation to present the House of Representatives’ response to His Majesty the King on the main royal speech on the occasion of the opening of the fourth session of the fifth legislative term.

The delegation also included First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Deputy Abdel Nabi Salman, and Secretary General Rachid Mohamed Bounedjma.

Zainal stressed the keenness of the legislative branch of the government to continue the democratic process and achieve more achievements despite all circumstances and challenges, maintain security and stability, and support national development.
