Manama, October 6 (BNA) Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal expressed her sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the successful visit of His Holiness Pope Francis to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
She praised the visit, the first of its kind, describing it as an exceptional historical landmark that strengthened the royal approach and vision to promote world peace, tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives also praised His Majesty the King’s sponsorship of the Bahrain Forum for Dialogue between East and West for Human Coexistence, in which scholars, intellectuals, clerics and preachers participated. She said that the forum embodied the finest image of religious coexistence, dialogue and tolerance listed in the Bahraini National Action Charter and its constitution.
