Manama, May 24 (BNA): Speaker of Parliament Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam sent a cable of congratulations to Speaker of Parliament Ahmad Safadi and Speaker of the Senate Faisal Fayez on the occasion of Jordan’s Independence Day.
Al-Muslim wished Jordan and its people more growth and prosperity.
The Speaker of Parliament praised the Bahraini-Jordanian relations under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, King of Jordan.
He pointed to the parliament’s keenness to enhance parliamentary cooperation and coordinate positions in regional and international parliamentary forums to serve the interests of the two kingdoms.
Al-Musallam sent a similar telegram to the Jordanian ambassador to Bahrain, Rami Warika Al-Adwan.
