Speaker affirms depth of Bahraini-Omani relations

Manama, Mar. 13 (BNA): Speaker of the Parliament, Chairman of the 146th Session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, received Speaker of the Omani Shura Council, Sheikh Khalid. Bin Hilal Al-Ma’awali and his accompanying delegation are participating in the 146th session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, which is currently being held at the Bahrain International Exhibition.

The two sides emphasized the depth of the well-established fraternal relations and cooperation between the two countries, which are steadily progressing thanks to the continuous patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, King of Oman.

The head of the Omani Shura Council praised the honorable Kingdom’s successful hosting of the 146th meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, indicating that this success is a source of pride for all citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Arab countries.
