Speaker affirms depth of Bahraini-Moroccan relations

Manama, Jan. 8 (BNA): Speaker of Parliament, Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, affirmed the depth of the strong relations between Bahrain and Morocco, in light of their joint keenness to enhance joint cooperation in various fields, especially parliamentary and economic.


The spokesman reiterated the Kingdom’s position in support of Morocco’s sovereignty over its territory, and its efforts to ensure its security and stability, pointing to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to open its Consulate General in the Moroccan city of El-Ayoun.


The Speaker of the House of Representatives affirmed, when receiving here today the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Morocco, Khalid bin Salman Al-Musallam, that the distinguished relations and multiple partnerships between the two brotherly countries have been strengthened thanks to the wisdom of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco.


The Muslim President also praised the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to expand cooperation and strengthen coordination between Bahrain and Morocco in a way that achieves the interests of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
